Doctoral defence: Milda Kurpniece "The Livonian Jussive in the context of the Central Baltic Area"
Distinguished linguistics professors, Laura Janda and Harald Baayen, will be visiting Tartu on the last week of November. They will give two workshops coordinated by the MEDAL consortium.
Professor Rolf Harald Baayen will be granted an honorary doctorate in linguistics for his outstanding contribution.
The special issue of the Journal of Estonian and Finno-Ugric Linguistics, titled "Approaches to Language Planning" is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of J. V. Veski's birth.
