English translation of her story

Why did I choose a language that is spoken by only about a million people? That's a good question! When I was sixteen, I wanted to travel. Summers are hot in Slovakia and I really don't like hot weather. I read about European countries on the internet and I fell in love with Finland. I liked Finnish nature and language. I learn languages quickly and I wanted to study languages at the university. I studied Finnish and Slovak and got a master's degree. But why Estonian? Ten years ago, I was in Estonia during the summer as a volunteer working on a farm. I lived in Hiiumaa for two months and it was amazing! I liked Estonians and Estonia and I knew I wanted to come back. And now the time has come. I worked as a teacher in Slovakia for the last four years and it was great, but I also wanted to live abroad and learn something new. And since Estonia is a beautiful country and Tartu is the city of good thoughts, then... Why not?
