Movie nights at the Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics

The student representatives of the Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics once again invite everyone to movie nights!

On Wednesday, April 19 at 6 PM we will be watching "The Linguists". The movie night takes place at Jakobi 2-438. After the movie, Fedor Rozhanskiy, our Associate Professor of Finno-Ugric Languages, and Elena Markus, Associate Professor of Finnic Languages, will moderate the discussion and share stories about their own field work.

"David and Greg are "The Linguists," who document languages on the verge of extinction. In the rugged landscapes of Siberia, India, and Bolivia, their resolve is tested by institutionalized racism and violent economic unrest." (Source: IMDB)
